This kit has everything you need to make cute projects. The book that come with it is very detailed with nice pictures to go along. I wanted to try a different type of clay for my crafting, and was impressed how this feels. It seems sticky but it’s not and was fun to work with. So many colors and tools, great for beginners or kids. The thing I didn’t like is the smell, it’s not overpowering but it’s there. The colors did not stain my hands or the paper I was working on. Overall a fun kit.

This is not heavy like real pottery clay it’s more of a foam clay very light. The colors however are very different and bright. The best part is that this stuff is mess free. Yes I said that right mess free. The color doesn’t transfer to anything not even your hands. It’s not sticky like some others are and doesn’t fall apart. When it get on the carpet it will not be a hassle to clean just get wet with little water and then it comes off with just u picking at it. It is air dry but if u get it wet with little water it comes back to life. Not waterproof unless you lit it dry they spay clear coat over it then it’s permanently and water proof. I definitely recommend using this product for kids because it’s very easy to clean and well worth the price you get so many different colors no 2 colors are the same tint or shades. They have resealable packs to keep the color u open from drying out and they will seal good or u can make ur own colors by mixing colors and keep the unused color from drying out. It also come with a variety of different tools that will help you mold whatever you’re making. Also comes with a book to teach you how to make different things well worth it. I definitely recommend you checking out this clay if you want to call it clay because it’s the best mess free kid friendly stuff I ever seen. My kids love it a lot and like I said since the color of the clay doesn’t transfer to anything that alone makes it worth buying. Usually it’s very hard to get color or dye transfer from clay out of anything but no worries with this stuff.

I got this to have some fun making things with my 9 year old daughter. I was a little bit disappointed the clay packs were smaller than I expected but that didn't seem to matter to my daughter (and that's the important part). There is a lot of variety for colors and the booklet gives you some ideas for projects, or you can just take off on your own project, whichever you prefer. My daughter and I had lots of fun creating figures of animals with the clay. These are the types of memories I was looking to create with this clay. There was no let down on that aspect!

I was really impressed with the big variety of colors in the box, as well as all of the extras. The booklet gives some general instructions as well as several mini projects. The clay is soft and easy to work with. It does dry pretty quickly, but adding a little water turns the clock back. I'm currently making a little nativity for an advent calendar for a family with young children. The clay dries to a foam-like feel. I think this will be perfect for accidental drops and bumps. My 14-year-old daughter made a frog in about 10 minutes. This is a great package for gifting to a creative family!

This clay is loads of fun. great for making small crafts, figures, decorations etc... Clay takes a while to dry and takes about 3 days. No big deal. Also, please keep in mind that the clay packets are rather small...BUT that is good if you are giving this to a young child who is trying this out for the first time. Because it limits the mess! hee-hee. I didn't use much of the accessories but I'm sure a kid would love them. I did however like the clay tools. The clay was very pliable and easy to work with. There were plenty of colors to choose from. The sky is the limit for what you can create. Hours of creative entertainment.

I am no expert in this kind of clay, I used to be an avid sculptor of polymer clay and also two part epoxy clays, I have dabbled in foam clays, but it is not my speciality and I find its texture to be a bit difficult compared to what I am used to, but I love trying out new art supplies and thought with a bucket this big I can figure something out. Mostly I wanted to make ways to store my watercolors, I already have too many palettes and pans, but since I make my own paints I need more, if I could get this clay to work the way I want then I could make small quantities of different experimental blends or paints I am exploring ratios of binder and the like and not have to worry about it taking up space in my main palette until I am sure I like it. I still find this clay difficult, it is very bouncy and doesn't like to hold its shape, I really appreciate how it isn't sticky and has a fun texture, but I have no idea how people get detail with this clay given how stretchy it is, but eventually I was able to make a small makeshift palette to test out. If you are going to get this clay wet after it dries then you need to seal it, the water doesn't seem to damage it, but that paint is definitely not coming off, so the mixing part of my experiment was not really the best. However the paint compartments worked great, I definitely think I could make this work for watercolors as long as I don't try mixing on the dried clay.

I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with this but I wanted to try it out cuz I had some ideas for medieval armor or helmet or something. There's a fair amount in the kit enough to do something like a helmet or horns or sword. It's pretty easy to work with and it takes a good 24 hours to set up but it performs exactly as it is advertised so 4 Stars.

I wasn't sure what cosplay stuff to make with this, if I'm honest. So, I went and make some pokemon clay figures! They turned out really cool. Dried really fast, but I used water to connect the limbs to each other. They worked great with airbrush paint, since that's all I have. They held their form, just got a little soggy around the eyes. Where I concentrated the paint more.

I wish the lid went on better, it doesn't like to completely go on after you've opened it the first time. It does come in a zipper bag, though. The clay is a stiff kind of clay, but it's nice and soft. Really good for building up small details on foam pieces. Feel like it's between regular air dry clay and Crayola's brand of air dry clay texture wise!

Got this for my 12 yr old for Christmas and she loves it. She’s already made a bunch of little things out of it with her friend.

I bought this gift for my 3 year old grandson. When he opened it his eyes got so big. He spent all day playing with the trucks. He loved to feel the sand and seemed to enjoy running his hands through the sand clay. He’s a sensory learner I guess. He didn’t play with the sand molds much, but I think when he’s older he will. He ignored his other gifts on Christmas Day. This gift gave him and me much joy. I highly recommend Imagine Toys Sand Clay Construction Kit.

Purchased on a recommendation for our 5- and 7-year-old grandsons. I too would recommend. We put sand in a cookie tray to help avoid a mess.

As the title states, this is a great dupe of one of Christmas 2023’s Hottest, Best-Selling Toys! My 5-year-old cousin wanted it for Christmas. The Kinetic Sand brand one his mother sent me was sold out. So, I found this one at a better price. It had 3 lbs of sand and tons of toys. My lil man was delighted with it!

Grandkids had fun

My four year old grandson loved this sand play set. He played with it for over an hour. The trucks are small but good enough. His favorite part was the little signs. I don't think you need quite so many molds, but it is nice to have options. There are plenty of accessories to share with a sibling or friend. The sand sticks together nicely and didn't make a big mess. Hopefully the sand won't dry out too fast.

I really didnt want to get this for fear of making a big mess, But I put the sand in the sensory table and let them play with it in my greenhouse room and it's the best thing ever. They play nonstop with this stuff. No batteries, no maintenance. I couldn't ask for a better combination of toys. There is just the right amount of sand, and it's also the perfect texture for building sandcastles or whatever. It stays in place, it comes out of the molds good, it dont need much water, and it dont stick to their hands too much. They are enjoying the dump trucks and accessories too. They are high quality and should last a long time. I wasn't going to get this but I am so happy I did. The kids love it!

I'm not sure how long the wheels will stay on with heavy play. The good thing there is that you could use other vehicles from other toys The kit is packaged in a clear plastic. It was delivered in a large brown box that could have been smaller, much smaller. By the weight alone one knows that what is inside is serious play business. The weight is mostly the high grade sand. To get scale, I placed a quarter next to a truck on the plastic lid and on the package off sand. The latching handles with well and hooks the case closed. The handle is strong enough to carry the car wherever you want the kids to play. I'm not sure how the sand will seal up one the given plastic bag. I will be putting 2 bags around the bag of sand . I'm all pleased with it so far. I'm looking forward to the 3 year old twins playing with it soon. It's a toy that starts at Grammie and Papa's home.

This is such a fun idea for kids. My 4 and 6 year old can sit and play with it for an hour. You can think of lots of fun ways to play with the sand and it comes with plenty of it - 3 pounds, where some of the other sand toys don’t have that much. The container and lid are perfect for storing it away. It will make a little mess but we have a robotic vacuum that takes care of anything we can’t pick up.

Upon unpacking I was a bit concerned about the size of the trucks but they are perfect for our 4 yr old. I always have to remind myself that I'm not little. Ha The packaging works great for making a small play area and the sand was much better quality than I expected. This came at a perfect time as we were having a couple days of cruddy weather and having this to play with worked as a great alternative to the normal outside sandbox. I do wish they had a version that was a bit larger, I'd gladly pay more for a box that was about double the size and more sand. That being said this is a great product and the price is solid. We are ordering more for gifts.

My kids had fun playing with this. There are a lot of toys to play with in the sand. The toys aren't incredibly durable, but they are perfect for this type of sand bin. Since it is a kinetic type sand, it was easy to clean up when the kids were finished.

Our daughter got so excited when she opened her gift from us. Her first words were, “Slime, I love slime!” Then she proceeded to open the box. It was packed with so much stuff. Her second words were, “Mom can I invite my friend over tomorrow? I want us to play with my slime.” The next day, our daughter and her friend played for hours making dessert cups, glow in the dark slime, mixing foam balls and beads to create fun stretchy slime variations. Great gift for girls! 😊

Love this product and quality my daughter loves it

This slime kit was awesome and included everything, and I mean everything! It almost seemed like there were too many mix-ins for the amount of slime but somehow my kids used every last bit. There was a fair bit of mess when we used this kit. The mix-ins, particularly the glitter were everywhere from the fallout when they were kneading and stretching the slime. We also found that this slime is not very washable at all. It will stain clothing and light colored surfaces if you aren't careful. My daughter also got some in her hair during the excitement and it was so hard to get this stuff out. It was a lot of fun and the kids included everything needed but I will stress that you really need an area that can get messy, clothes that can get stained, and hair tied back. I would not use this around carpet at all!

This kit is ridiculous. And gross. But that is the point, right? Look, I won't judge what you do with this stuff. Just don't eat it. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't eat it. I keep checking the box to see something that reassures me this stuff is non-toxic, but some of the slimes do glow in the dark, so--let's just err on the side of caution and assume this isn't like the Play-Doh of old, and you really, really shouldn't eat it. I also don't recommend throwing them at the walls, some leave a residue. Don't ask me how I know.

I wish I would have gotten this kit when I was 8. It’s got tons of crazy stuff in it: 18 pre-mixed little cups of different colored slimes, 3 bags of beads to mix in, 5 bags of Styrofoam balls, 2 bags of glitter chips, 1 bag of flower discs, 10 vials of different colored glitter, 2 bags glow-in-the-dark powder, a clear egg and a clear ball filled with what looks like every color of iridescent slime mixed together, and a multitude of tiny, clear plastic parfait cups to make a disgusting array of inedible ice cream sundaes. The back of the box says it includes cutting/shaping utensils with a pack of animal shaped molds. I didn’t find those in my box, but it did include two straws for mixing. Either way, there’s lots of fun things that fascinate and keep kids entertained for hours. It does have the potential to be quite messy so I’d recommend a vinyl tablecloth and putting an old shower curtain on the floor. If you love your kids and can tolerate the mess, get one before they’re gone!

this box was loaded and so much slime for everyone. the kids had a blast playing with it and mixing everything in. it kept them entertained for a good long while. they loved playing with it and making there own combinations

This is a great pack of air dry clay with lots of color options, including colors that I have not seen any other air dry clay packs. This is very giftable & has a large volume of air dry clay in the box (compared to other products).

his kit includes so much and different colors of modeling clay. 52 colors! The tools are a bonus as my kids use them to create different things. At the price it is a steal almost! My favorite part is that it came with enough small ziplock bags to store each color!!! I think that is amazing that the creator actually included those!!! Would definitely recommend this set!!

Very different experience than working with other clays. It kind of feels like bubble gum and is springy. As long as you don't wet it, it isn't sticky, so don't get that crossed. That said, you can shape it with water for finer details, and water also works as glue just touching a light bit of it to connecting areas where you want to join clay together. As long as your hands aren't wet, there's no issues with it sticking to the hands, and isn't anywhere near as messy working with most other clays. Comes with everything required to shape the clay aside from a roller and water, which isn't really needed to work with the product. Didn't notice any shrinkage in the product after letting it dry and it holds the shape it's left in. Note: The instruction book that comes with the product contains errors. States the product came with a roller which isn't on the seller page, nor in the box. It also omitted how joining the clay is intended to be done.

Great for a rainy day and the tools included let you make more complex shapes than just your hands (i.e. cylinders and spheres…). Kids had a blast and when they air dry it means not finding play dough everywhere (win for the parents!)

Very easy to mold

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my little brother. He liked it very much so that's a plus.

I love working with polymer clay but I don't always feel like baking it, so I was looking forward to trying this set of air-dry clay. The clays are a nice range of unique colors, and they come in resealable tubs that have so far kept everything fresh. The clay dries pretty quickly into a firm but still squishable foam-like structure that is lightweight. It keeps it shape and size great as it dries but might not be the best for structural support. The tools that the clay comes with are useful. The included shapes (like Mr. Potatohead parts) aren't the greatest quality but are reusable and would be great for younger children who might struggle making evenly shaped body parts or feet that are flat and supportive.

Just one of many air-dry clay sets that we've ordered for our Daughter over the last year or so. Three things that set this apart from most others: 1. Better variety of colors to work with than most clay modeling sets. 2. Included booklet has great inspirational photos of the type of things you can make with the clay. 3. Plastic tubs for the clay make it easier to store unused clay. Most of the other air-dry clay sets that we've ordered in the past have little bars of clay that are in plastic bags you open (sort of like snack cake baggies). Problem is, once you open them, the clay you don't use will dry out. A few of the sets came with these additional ziplock type baggies that you could use to seal unused clay when done. But the tubs are just easier for storing and keeping the clay from drying out. So it's nice to have that added convenience, and no wasted clay. Plus easier for kids to put the clay up themselves when done, as parents end up having to put unused clay in the little baggies in the other sets. And unrelated to the quality of the product itself, it's just nice to actually encourage creativity with your child. Give them some time away from the TV, from their Switch or the games on their phone or other electronics. Just focus on being creative, and having fun the old fashioned way. With the added benefit of them being able to gift people their creations after they're dry. So your child or grandchild can feel proud and happy when they see that you've got their little "sculpture" on your desk or shelf where it can be admired. So as a parent, I'd recommend this to other parents. But those are the top three reasons why you'd want to try this set out first, and not a different one.

This air dry clay kit comes with many beautiful colors. Each little tub holds about two ounces of clay. The tools provided are plastic and adequate for the soft clay. The clay feels kind of spongy to the touch but what starts out as fluffy dries quite firmly with air. I actually purchased this to make a bowl of flowers for a red clay figurine that was broken. The girl was holding something that was broken off and I want to replace her empty hands with a bowl of colorful flowers. This clay should do the trick. My nephews and nieces will enjoy playing with the remainder.
